Rongelap Atoll Area
 
The Rongelap Atoll is one of the 29 atolls and 5 islands in the central Pacific Micronesia region that make up the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). The land area of Rongelap Atoll consists of 61 islets with a combined area of approximately 3 square miles. The lagoon covers 388 square miles.
