| Rongelap
Atoll is at the northern end of the Marshall Islands.
The Marshall Islands are found in the Micronesian area
of the Pacific but are considered to be a separate
country with its own unique identity. Majuro is the
capital. |

Access |

|
|
Air Marshall Islands (AMI) has
flights to Rongelap from Majuro, Kwajalein, or Bikini Islands.
They currently fly a Donier 228 with 16 seats and a

Luggage Allowances |
| |
|
Luggage allowances on Air Marshall Islands are very strict.
Check-in bags are restricted to a total
weight of 30 pounds. Hand carry items may not weigh over
15
pounds and must fit in an overhead compartment on the Dash 8
or under the seat on the Dornier (a very small space). Every item will be weighed so it is important to
pack carefully to avoid overweight luggage fees. Excess
baggage charges are $1.35/pound and are collected at
check-in. Freight & cargo charges are .80/pound.
Dive tourists are allowed 40 pounds checked luggage when
visiting Rongelap or Bikini. Excess baggage fees are charged
at the normal rate but include the return trip from Rongelap
or Bikini.

Travel Insurance |

When
traveling in the Pacific it is recommended that you
obtain travel insurance. All guests participating in
adventure activities are required to have
Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance due to the
Islands remote location.
